Our Story
Hi, I’m Lanny
Though I’ve always been a lover of food, my love of cooking began when I arrived in Sydney in 1997 to study. I missed the wholesome, authentic Indonesian food I grew up with. Crispy ayam goreng, spicy sambal and of course nasi goreng.
So I started to cook more at home and made it a habit to bring these recipes to my family’s kitchen in Sydney.
After finishing my study I started working at a number of restaurants in and around Sydney.
In 2009 I went back to Indonesia and opened a restaurant dedicated to the food I knew and loved. I felt compelled to to deepen my own style cooking, so I set off on a culinary tour of South-East Asia to see first hand the different cuisines and cooking techniques of Thailand, Vietnam Malaysia and Singapore.
I came back to Sydney and now offer my own Indonesian fusion food through direct orders and catering requests.
